The American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics will hold elections this year for ACMG Board officers and directors. The seats noted below will be open in 2027, and the Nominations Committee is looking for your input on suggested replacements. The ACMG Nominations Committee develops a slate of candidates from the nominations received by the membership.
ACMG Fellow members may self-nominate. To be considered for candidacy, the Nominee must complete the ACMG Board of Directors Nominee Form. If you are nominating someone, you will need to direct them to submit the nominee form by no later than June 15, 2026. The link to this submission form can be found on the ACMG Home page as well.
Eligibility: Nominees must be ACMG Fellow Members (MD/DO or PhD) in good standing and previous ACMG volunteer service is a pre-requisite. Physician Fellows are encouraged to be AMA members.
Note: A Director of the College may not concurrently serve as a College employee, or as an officer, director, or employee of the American Society of Human Genetics, the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics, the Society for Inherited Metabolic Disorders, the Association for Molecular Pathology or any other national or international professional organization that the Board of Directors deems to present a potential conflict with the Director’s service to the College.
The Nominations Committee strives to bring forward a diverse and equitable slate of candidates. We encourage anyone meeting the prerequisites above to apply. To be considered for candidacy, nominees must complete this form in full. Responses to the questions on this form will be used to rank nominees for candidacy.
